And Sony, James Franco and Seth Rogen can eat me!
There is a great misconception going around today that somehow Sony Pictures limited Seth Rogen and James Franco’s First Amendment rights by bowing to pressure from North Korea and pulling the picture “The Interview” from a general release on Christmas day.
While it may stand as a critical response to the lack of acting, writing and directing skills of the principles involved in the movie and while it may also speak volumes about the lack of intestinal fortitude of those in Sony’s management – After all “Team America World Police” was released and that parody featured a leader of North Korea who was portrayed –literally- as a puppet, the mastermind of terrorism across the world and ultimately as a cockroach. But in the end it isn’t a violation of Freedom of Expression or Free Speech to withdraw the release of “The Interview.”

Beau Phillips adventure, “I Killed Pink Floyd’s Pig” named after a very funny chapter that you’ll have to read to understand, tells humorous and sometimes poignant tales of rock n’ roll viewed from the best seat in the house – a radio station program director and executive at the early MTV networks.

I didn't wake up to birds chirping, or to the soft sunlight drifting through my blinds. I woke up to my eyelids being stretched over my headboard.
