The Spirit of Freedom is alive and well and living in Rockville. But it needs regular maintenance and that's where Montgomery County came in.
The Arts and Humanity Council hired to restoration experts to clean a sculpture the county spent plenty on in 1991, but ignored for the next 20 years.
This sculpture can be seen in Rockville at the old district court house.
