SLIPPERY ROCK, PA- Dagorhirms poured in to Ragnarok's "Welcome Revel" at dusk to party the night away with drinking, live music, dancing, and socializing.

“It was a great success and a lot of fun,” said Warthog, a nursing student who started a Dagorhirm club at Montgomery College.

A member of Warthog's club and also a student at Montgomery College, Enyo, was walking around with cups of water, convincing some people to chug it as soon he or she lifted one off her tray.

“People were depressed finding out it was water, but being a good sport they chugged it anyways,” Warthog chuckled.

Although it had started raining at dusk it didn’t stop the crowds from making their way to the Welcome Revel. However, once the rain subsided it was like a flood of people poured in.

A guitar wielder known as Bard roamed between the Tilted Tavern’s bar and the bonfire within Springwood’s camp. After he found out that it was someone’s birthday, he started strumming the strings and sang a very original song, improvising the lyrics based on what he knew about the person. Unfortunately cameras were not allowed.

Olos of Black Company explained to how he always knows how many years Ragnarok has been around based on his birthday. “Any time anyone asks what year Rag it is I always know because my birthday is always a couple weeks after the event,” said Olos.  “This year is 27 and I’m turning 27 in a couple weeks.”
